Standing Seam Metal Roof Snap Lock

Exposed fastener galvanized steel roof panels are fixed by screws driven straight through the sheet into the purlin, each screw fitted with an EPDM sealing washer. This is the simplest, fastest and most economical fixing method in metal roofing, proven over decades on sheds, workshops, farm buildings and light industry. The screw pattern is engineered for wind uplift, installation needs no special tools, and any damaged sheet can be removed and replaced individually without touching its neighbors.

Ultra-simple through-fixing with self-drilling screws and EPDM washers; high wind-uplift performance from engineered screw patterns; fast installation with no clips or seaming machines; easy single-sheet replacement for repair; wide profile availability; and the lowest system cost of any fixed metal roof.

Versus hidden systems, exposed-fastener panels cost less per square meter and install with unskilled labor and ordinary tools - decisive for budget-driven projects. The through-fix transfers wind load directly into the purlin, giving predictable performance that is easy to verify on site by screw count and torque.

Buyers get the fastest payback of any roofing investment; small crews complete large roofs quickly; repairs are done by swapping one sheet in minutes; and the transparent, verifiable fixing gives owners confidence in wind performance without specialist inspection.

Best suited to utilitarian and budget-sensitive buildings: workshops, warehouses, farm sheds, stables, industrial plants, garages, carports, storage buildings and temporary structures where cost per square meter and speed dominate.

Other cases include roof and wall cladding on residential outbuildings, animal housing, workshop partitions, canopies and pergolas, site hoardings, and retrofit re-roofing where the existing purlins are reused and new panels are screw-fixed directly onto them.
